We cultivate explorers & scientists by connecting thousands of kids to the outdoors each year. We harness their natural sense of wonder & curiosity through our outdoor adventures in partnership with schools or during the summer. Our programs show kids that they have the power to not only change the world but be leaders in their communities. We help kids change how they see themselves, the world, & their role within it.
The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum builds a lasting connection to the Pikes Peak region by preserving and sharing our cultural history. As a free museum, the CSPM welcomes all visitors to connect with stories of the past through innovative exhibits, dynamic educational programming and preservation of its object and archival collection.
For 41 years, the CSYSA has provided the most comprehensive instrumental music program for youth in this region. The diverse musical experiences we offer create great musicians, and great people! Our goal: ensure that any child who wishes to learn a symphonic instrument has the opportunity to do so. We believe that music education has the ability to change a child’s life and positively affect their future.
Our goal is to eliminate disparate outcomes for children of color and children in poverty. Children of color, particularly Black children, are more likely to live in poverty, more likely to have negative outcomes in the school system as well as the child welfare system, and more likely to be overrepresented in the juvenile justice and criminal justice systems than their white peers.
We make imagination part of everyday learning by awakening creativity, curiosity and courage in children and adults. We inspire a love of learning through creative engagement via our What IF…Festival of Innovation and Imagination, Imagination Space, School Theater, Kaleidoscope Dance, Dragon Theatre, Portals project connecting us to the world, and CACTUS program for active military, veterans and their families.
Serving students from lower income backgrounds from 7th grade through completion of college, we empower individuals to reach their potential by expanding educational choices, vision and dreams for the future. Students reach their dreams through a community-based combination of college and career readiness curriculum, deep mentoring relationships, leadership development, service-learning, and family engagement.
