Court Care provides free childcare for anyone who needs to be in court in our region. The program welcomes children into a nurturing, safe space away from contentious courtroom proceedings (e.g. domestic violence, divorce, rape, child custody, etc.). We enable parents or caregivers to fully participate in legal matters with dignity and without distraction, helping our court system operate more efﬁciently.
As a non-profit construction company, we support families in need every day through energy efficient measures. These are free services to families who qualify which saves them an average of 25% on utility bills. Our work also conserves energy. According to Colorado State University, if every American household used 30% less energy in their homes, 450 power plants in the country would not be needed!

Haseya Advocate Program provides Native specific advocacy for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, & stalking in El Paso County. We provide safety planning, court accompaniment, civil & criminal justice advocacy, culturally specific events & educational groups, transitional housing, referrals for community resources, & intensive one-on-one support by striving to create a Sister Space for our program participants.
HPP believes everyone can recover from addictions and learn to manage severe mental illness. Through five housing programs with intense case management services and access to an outpatient treatment clinic, HPP restores hope, dignity, and self-reliance. Clients move from dependency and poverty to wellness and independence. HPP works closely with other agencies to bridge between shelter and permanent housing.
At Ithaka, we believe everyone deserves a home. We walk alongside our residents as they work toward personal recovery and independence goals in our two transitional programs for the homeless and low-income families. Through individualized case management, we work to create and maintain responsive relationships between staff and residents to support our residents on their journey from homeless to homebound.
Lutheran Family Services walks with the vulnerable through services that heal, strengthen, and provide hope. We strive to partner with local communities to meet the existing needs of Colorado Springs. We support foster youth through safe placement and support services, work to prevent child abuse and neglect with a free respite child care center, and help refugees and asylees successfully resettle into the community.
ONWT is a comprehensive resource & referral agency, providing a broad range of culturally appropriate programs, services & crisis interventions for Native Americans-the most underserved & misrepresented group in the U.S. Indigenous people experience higher levels of poverty, hunger, homelessness & unemployment than any other demographic. We transition individuals & families out of crisis & into sustainable situations.
Project Angel Heart improves health and well-being for Coloradans with life-threatening illnesses through the power of food as medicine. Our professional chefs prepare tasty, nourishing meals from scratch and tailor them to meet clients’ medical needs. Each week, volunteers deliver them to 250 Colorado Springs neighbors (and another 950 in other areas) coping with illnesses like cancer, kidney disease, and HIV/AIDS.
Safe Passage helps child victims of abuse tell their story and begin their journey toward hope and recovery. We coordinate the responses of partners in the law enforcement, medical, mental health, social services, and legal fields in one child-sensitive location. These efforts ensure child victims and their non-offending caregivers achieve justice, hope, and recovery.
TESSA provides comprehensive healing services for victims of DV/SA throughout the Pikes Peak region. Services include our safehouse program, 24/7 safe line, confidential advocacy, counseling services, and childrens’ programs as well as community outreach and educational programming. Through these programs and services, TESSA strives to realize our vision of a community free of violence.
The Place provides the roofs, resources and relationships that help youth exit homelessness. We work with youth ages 15 to 24, creating a safe environment of support, encouragement and hope. We are the only nonprofit organization in Colorado Springs that offers a full convergence of trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate and strength-based services for youth in homelessness.
We help to resolve the difficult choices economically disadvantaged households face in northern El Paso County by providing emergency, relief, and self-sufficiency services. Under one roof, those in need can find help with food, rental or mortgage assistance, utility payments, medical assistance and referrals, case management, programs focused on a pathway out of poverty and so much more.
