Project Healing Waters Fly FishingDonate Now
Helping veterans through the healing power of water. Our program combines the passion for fly fishing of our volunteers with the rivers, streams and lakes of Colorado to enable physical and emotional healing for disabled veterans in the Pikes Peak region. We currently serve over 350 participants with the support of over 200 amazing volunteers, our donors and the local fly fishing community!
PHWFF-COS introduces disabled veterans to fly fishing on our region’s waters through trips, fly tying, rod building and monthly meetings. The sport reconnects them to a team and community that is often missing in their post-service lives. The stories of our veterans — and 600 percent growth in participant demand in four years — point to effective rehab support and a program that is literally changing and saving lives!
Our growth requires adding trips, activities and equipment. Our new 15-passenger van adds insurance, storage and maintenance needs.
