Pikes Peak Suicide Prevention Partnership is here to unite the community in addressing suicide in the Pikes Peak Region. We believe we can reduce the number of suicides in our community through connectedness, education and awareness, and postvention strategies. We offer free programs and services to address each of these prevention strategies.
PPSPP is here because our community is in the middle of an epidemic. Although suicide was most common in the 45-64 age group, it has consistently been the leading cause of death for persons aged 10-24. Men are 3 times as likely to die by suicide and 50% of all suicides in Colorado are completed with the use of a firearm. One person dies by suicide every eight hours in CO. Help us save lives and get closer to zero.
We need volunteer licensed mental health professionals, volunteers to help manage administrative duties, and in-kind snacks and drinks for our teen support groups

“Group has helped me move on and deal with my dad’s suicide. Group is a fun place to be and everyone makes me laugh. Without group I wouldn’t have been able to deal with past and present issues.” — Anonymous youth from “Children Left Behind” Support Grp
