We make imagination part of everyday learning by awakening creativity, curiosity and courage in children and adults. We
inspire a love of learning through creative engagement via our What IF…Festival of Innovation and Imagination,
Imagination Space, School Theater, Kaleidoscope Dance, Dragon Theatre, Portals project connecting us to the world, and CACTUS program for active military, veterans and their families.
Imagination matters more than ever. Innovation cannot exist without imagination. Through our initiatives, adults engage
their sense of adventure and remember the joy of play; children explore the creative process and grow a lifelong love of
learning; and teens find their voice and a passion that translates into life skills. We instigate creativity and empower
Creative educators for workshops; a volunteer coordinator, an Imagination Celebration van or art car, a lover of data input.
84% of children rank high in creativity in kindergarten; 10% rank high in creativity in Grade 2. America has a creativity crisis!
“Meeting Lewis in the Portal opened my eyes to face my stereotypes of people. My life changed today. I see from meeting him that I have control over my attitude in life. My heart was broken open. This gold shipping container opened my world!” — Anonymous teen after an IC program
