Home Front Military Network, the merged entity of The Home Front Cares & Peak Military Care Network, is a Colorado nonprofit offering financial assistance & personalized case management to service members, veterans, and their families by connecting them to programs and resources. HFMN offers holistic support in order to address immediate crises as well as provide support overcoming long-term complex needs.
Financial hardship, housing and employment instability, and substance abuse are leading causes of depression and suicide, especially among active duty service members and veterans. HFMN matters because our efforts alleviate financial stress and keep military and veteran families out of homelessness which help promote physical well being and positive mental health.
Home Front Military Network is in need of volunteers for our fundraising events and our Welcome Home Heroes program. In-kind donations of gas and grocery gift cards for clients are also great.
El Paso County houses four of the six military installations in Colorado and makes up 58% of Colorado’s military retiree population!
“You helped my family in a very big way. You helped keep a roof over my four children and you don’t understand how grateful I am for you. I could never have thought that anyone would help me the way you guys did...when you said yes I cried inside!” — Anonymous-disabled Veteran of the war in Afghanistan
