Dale House Project

Dale House Project is a Residential Child Care Facility licensed by the state of Colorado that offers an emancipation program to youth placed at our house. We are devoted to making the DHP home for these dear kids we are privileged to know and care for. Each year we hire eight recent college grads to live and work on our block. The heart of DHP is the relationship between the dedicated staff and kids placed here.

As one of the few remaining residential programs of its kind in Colorado, the DHP gives kids a vision for what residents are capable of today, while building knowledge and skills to achieve their goals for tomorrow. A foundation of the Dale House program is our staff — truly amazing people who come from all over the country to pour themselves into transforming lives and creating community each year.

We need an office-quality shredder. We also need a compact car.

Did You Know

The Dale House Project started in 1972 as a safe place in downtown Colorado Springs for transient kids. Today we are HOME to over 50 kids in need each year.

“What is the success rate at the Dale House? If showing hurting kids that they matter, have value and a future, then the success rate is 100 percent.”
