About Give!

The impact of Give!

Since its inception in 2009, Give! has enabled 247 local nonprofits to raise more than $14.6 million through more than 106,472 donations while helping these organizations access matching grants, media exposure and capacity-building training from local and regional experts.

Little Girl

Igniting philanthropy

Give! is a year-end philanthropic initiative that sparks philanthropy across generations and lifts our neighbors through the invaluable work of local nonprofits, which are the backbone of our thriving and diverse community.

As a catalyst for change and growth, Give! specializes in raising awareness of smaller organizations whose messages need to be heard.

Additionally, Give! builds future philanthropists by focusing on donors aged 36 and younger. Our Young Donor Challenge inspires nonprofits to find innovative ways to connect with young people by awarding cash prizes to the nonprofits that attract the most donors age 13-36. Sponsored by the Design Rangers.

A rising tide lifts all boats

  • Since 2009 The Millibo Art Theatre has raised $167k + through Give!: ”All the years of participating in GIVE! have taught us valuable strategies for mounting successful, individual donation, online campaigns. [...]We immediately launched an emergency fundraising campaign that raised enough money to keep us going for several months without revenue. Thanks to Give! we had the tools in place to do that.”  -Jim Jackson
  • “When I first moved to Colorado Springs to work at FOX21 in 2013 Give! was just kicking off [...] It made me feel connected and like I picked a really awesome place to live because I saw how much money was raised, how many people were invested in this.” - Lauren Ferrara (2020 Video Storytelling Presentation)
  • “We gained valuable community exposure [and] provided us more ‘reach’ through various media outlets beyond our normal scope of marketing. Give! inspired CASA to develop new ideas and partnerships and expanded our donor and volunteer base. This ultimately broadened awareness about CASA's mission, the children we serve, and why it is an essential service within Colorado Springs and surrounding communities.”   - CASA of the Pikes Peak Region
